The festival will be hosted at the California State Historical Park, Colonel Allensworth Park, located in southern San Joaquin Valley of Tulare County, which is 192 miles north of Los Angeles. This park is of meaningful significance because it is the site of the first African-American township established in California. The festival coincides with the centennial year of the founding of the township.
